● Simple structure, small size
It has the simpler structure than nowadays shaded-pole motors have. It has no short-circuit ring starting apparatus. Its size is 1/2—1/3 of shaded-pole motors of the same input power. It also has the simpler structure than nowadays capacitive running motors. The setting-rotor group is not inserted into the stator slot, but circled to form four framed loops on the mechanic stator shaded pole. Its size is only the 1/3—2/5 of the capacitive running motors of the same input power and running speed.
● Save energy and power
Ⅰ. Compared with nowadays shaded-pole motors and capacitive running motors, the motors of this series have the higher power factor and efficiency. The power factor of this series products can reach 0.92—0.98; their efficiency can reach 11—70 percent; the power factor increases 0.38—0.56, compared with shaded-pole motors, whose power factor is 0.36—0.6; efficiency increases 0.7—1.1 times, compared with shaded-pole motors, whose efficiency is 8—16 percent. Compared with capacitive running motors, the power factor increases 8—15 percent, and the efficiency increases 2—5 percent. The increase of power factor indicates that this series motors save energy for the nation, and the increase of the efficiency can decrease volume of the complete apparatus and cut down the power loss so as to greatly cut down total power loss of the complete apparatus. That will not only cut down consumers’ expenditure, but, most importantly, make contribution to the society in saving energy and reducing the energy loss.
Ⅱ. This series motors has its own characteristics in speed regulation and alteration
1. Wide speed alteration belt (with the characteristic of soft property). One electric motor has the performance of multi-pole logarithmic running, that is, one electric motor with a pair poles (two poles) can be normally running for a long time in multi-pole, one-pair-pole, two-pair-pole, and three-pair-pole etc, which other exchange asynchronous motors can hardly achieve.
2. Two ways to regulate the speed, conveniently and economically. A. The speed can be regulated in a wide range by the load. E.g. one electric motor is equipped with fan blades of different diameters. The fan blades of different diameters, 170mm and 190mm and 215mm, will produce different running speeds, and they work together to make the motor normally run for a long time, so as to meet the different requirements of speed regulation.
B. For a electric motor with fixed volume, the speed can be regulated by the electric capacitor of different capacities. The belt width can reach 30—50 percent, reaching the running speed of beyond-grade regulating and altering motors. Speed regulation through the capacitor is in fact changing the current flow under the same voltage so as to regulate the speed. It’s different from voltage and speed regulation as we usually say. This way is convenient, economic and safe.
● The machine dynamic moves. Workers and equipment are safe.
Motors of this series have the characteristics of low starting current, low locked-rotor current, high insulation, low frequency of accidents. This series products use starting current 1.1 times the rating current, locked-rotor current 1.15—1.20 times the rating current, capacitive short-circuit locked-rotor current 1.4—1.7 times the rating current. The machine’s insulation level is B-grade. Average earthing insulation is over 300 million ohmad. So this series electric motors, on average, can be applied to the household appliance for the whole lifetime without accidents, except for the man-made damage or natural fire accident.
● Quiet, proof against the radio interference
Electric motors of this series employ powder metallurgy copper-based oil-impregnated bearing. This series motors have the advantages of long lifetime, small noise. This advantage will make the household appliances longer lifetime. This series motors are almost proof against the interference of wireless wave, so this series belongs to green products.
On the whole, this series motors is the special ideal motors for the high energy-saved, safe running, unpolluted household appliances (refrigerators, air-conditioners, smoke-drawers, ventilators, etc.)
